Drive to the mountains and take in the glorious sights as the leaves are turning.

Go for a moonlit stroll on a snowy starlit evening. Play in the snow, and make snow angels. Covered in snow, steal a kiss from your sweetheart.

After a new snow fall, take squirt guns and/or spray bottles filled with different colors of colored water. Create designs and messages in the snow.

Go to a local orchard and go raspberry or apple picking and make a day of it by picnicking in the same area.

Surprise her early in the morning. Tell her you have a surprise waiting for her. Take her to a carnival (or amusement park). Go on as many rides as the two of you can. Then drive to a local (small) ice cream joint.

Go to a beach and build a sand city, complete with castle, mall, and houses. When you are ready to leave, jump into your beautiful creation and watch it crumble.

Play whiffle ball during a rain storm.

Play a mud football game after a rainstorm. Change clothes and have some hot chocolate.

Dress up and answer the door as the children come "trick or treating".

Bring your date to a local park (or any place with a grill) during a cold winter day. Bring ingredients to make smores (chocolate bar, graham crackers, marshmallows). Collect sticks to make the fire (you'll also need matches), toast the marshmallows and watch the chocolate freeze in place. Lot of laughs will probably follow.

Have a leaf fight on the lawn.

As a couple, identify a family that is struggling, either financially or emotionally and plan a secret "12 Days of Christmas" event. Each evening, drop off something (gifts, food, poems, baskets, etc.) for 12 days straight. Keep your giving a secret!

Go sleigh riding or inner-tubing in the winter.

Go sleigh riding or tubing. Be cautious, as you can get hurt (avoid dangerous runs and stay alert).

Go snow shoeing. Bring along snacks and plenty of beverages. For a unique experience, make your own snowshoes together.

Create your own culture Christmas party. Have each set of couples take a different culture and make corresponding food and decorations.
